atmega/fun problems

hi guys
been searching the forum and getting more confused the more i read, just want to know if the fun cards are in any way similar to the atmega i have been using for the last year or so? as my card knackered too and dont think there is a fix yet, is it worth buying a fun 4 the time being? and which would be best

fun and atmega cards are almost the same only atmega cards hold more info thats all correct me if iam wrong

but no fixout yet for au atmega tw though as yet is there, gets a little confusing as fix for cw for fun but not on atmega am i right

got it work after a couple of goes had to put in ird forwards instead of backwards as usual
