ask toolbar cant get rid of it

this fecker has installed in ie 7 but theres no folder file when i use add / remove programmes how the feck do i get rid of it

try crap cleaner fella removes hidden instalations good for removing windows updates as well i ant found anything yet it hasnt been able to remove

BHO's and Regedit

Firstly, goto your IE7>Tools>Options menu.
Select Programs tab.
Click 'Manage Add-Ons"
See if the toolbar has installed itself as a browser helper object.
If so it should be listed in there and you can select to disable it.

For a permanent fix edit your registry.
Start Menu > Run > "regedit"
Search for "ask" and delete any references to Ask toolbar in the registry.
Hit F3 to search for next until you are through the entire registry.

**** Be careful in there. If you don't know what you're doing it can stop your whole system from working. ****

Search your system for "*ask*" including all hidden and system files - delete any files belonging to the Ask toolbar software.

Hope this is of some assistance, but again BE CAREFUL in the registry. You could back it up before you start tinkering.
