Just tried a basc scanner, not impressed, want to listen to local (Manchester) and military stuff, technical n not technically legal in uK but no one bothers.any ideas.

Funny i saw this on hotukdeals earlier and people are saying they can hack it and extend it to receive airband. I have a beofeng ham radio and until you can work out about repeaters there is not much on there.
