after E3 still not sure?

hi all i was wondering if i buy the wii U can my dsi or 3ds connect with the console? ive watched all the E3 n still not sure wot is going on apart from the visuals on the wii u-pad,

ive seen the pro gamer pad for wii u n now is it worth buyin it at release if my dsi n 3ds does not connect

They pretty much skipped over the 3DS at the showcase not giving much away. Don't think it was mentioned once in collaboration with the WiiU so personally I'd give console a miss for first 6 months and see just how it goes down. Zombie game looked good but pro pad wasn't enough to give the machine the edge like when Wii came out - in fact even the games didn't look that inspiring unless you like Pikmin and those Jap type games
