Hi all

Im after some advice on what to buy. Bascially I want a PDA that will do TomTom is a mobile phone and will stream media files off my wireless network (by streaming I mean im able to watch divx xvid wmv files etc etc) Ive been trawling the net looking for such a device and have pretty much overwhelmed by all the options and would appreciate a bit of advice on what to get. Im in need of it asap as we are going to Florida shortly and will obviously need the sat nav. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated thanks guys.

Looks nice thanks for the reply DevilFish mate its appreciated. Im so sure about the review though as it seems to dish the phone for being a mess.

So would I be able to install TomTom on this as I have just been given a copy of TomTom 6 for PDAs ?? I notice from the review it doest state if TomTom can be used with it.
Nice find though thanks.

I have though just been going through some of the O2 XDAs which seem to hold some features that are what I could be looking for. As Im a bargain hunter I been checking out ebay prices and comparing them to froogle and so far I have come up with this.

I know its older but what do you guys reckon??

I also found the HP PDA

This seems to look good too.

Thanks for help again guys its much appreciated

Orbit

I got the XDA orbit which does all that and now coupled with my Sony BT2500 bluetooth car radio, I can stream the audio from my XDA to my car stereo so watching movies is loud.

The only negative thing that I have noticed is that bluetooth streaming uses a lot of cpu power and the XDA Orbit is a little under powered so tends not to give a smooth picture. What I have done though is ripped Divx's to the lowest bit rate and messed round wth the ripping until i got a smoother picture, still not perfect though but def watchable

Look for E-TEN 500+ aka glofish.
A new model will be out soon X800.
X500+ is very cheap and does all the stuff.

how about getting a SD Wifi card (around £25), which will turn virtually any PDA into a wifi enabled device.
Mine allows Skype, DivX streaming, MP3, Online Radio etc...
