I'm getting a bit worried lol...

A m8 gave me a N*kia 3330e V4.30 on Or*nge to unlock, I know that particular one is difficult and I don't own a Serial Mbus data cable required to use N*kia tool.

So I flashed it with a 4.30 file (Fiddling about as I do) and it accepted my Ce**net SIM, the problem is that there is now no network coverage, not even with it's original Or*nge SIM and I had already deleted the backup 'flashout' file

So if anyone could read the flash from 00200000 to 002A0000 from their Provider locked 3330e V4.30 Or*nge phone and send it to me...Well, if it works it would be gr8

Of course other working sugestions are welcome also

also had this problem m8 and i havent been able to get the fls.file for it yet, what ever u do do not flash it with a lower version file as when i tryed this it ****ed it right up

Unlocking the 3330e (the e just means it is an orange phone) is not straight forward. It has to be done by a 2 part flashing (this way only works for phones with 1 lock closed).
I`ve already posted the site where you can solve the prob.I can let you have the flash file for a 3330 ver 4.30. pm me with your email and I`ll send it over. I have also zipped the progs and partials you need to do the job I`ll email that aswell.
The site is: http://www.g7ecd.gasbags.net/index.htm
Need any more help just shout.

Cheers, jboy

Hi there jboy, I know about the two stage unlocking, the problem being that I don't have the com/data cable needed to use Nokia Tool and I can't find a diagram for it Unless anyone has it that is...hint...hint

There are two other options I have:

1. Buy a data cable - Could someone tell me where to get it please

2. Flash the phone with a backup from 00200000 - 00600000 and return it back to normal, this is the other thing I don't have...the backup, and methinks it will be quite a large file

I can send you a diagram for a cable if you want, but I would reccomend you buy one. They are not that dear, you can get a full flasher set for under £20. Leave it with me and I will find a reliable, cheap supplier and let you know.
I can send you the full flash it`s roughly 4meg in size. Let me know what you want to do?

Cheers jboy, I have a Dejan flasher set already, I just didn't have a serial Mbus interface needed for NokiaTool.

Check your PMs

I'll have to get one of those Mbus converters really handy for other programs

Got it ta but what address does it start at m8 ?

I recieved my leads and tried the solution that is floating about...no joy though It must be becaust I fiddled in the first place. I'll try this flash and let you know how I get on

Put the phone back to its original setup before you start on the 2 part flash method.

Lol, that full flash prevents it from accepting the Orange SIM and the Cellnet SIM, it closes all of the locks.
