5.1 sound and sky HD

is there any way to get 5.1 sound from a std Sky HD + box ?

HDMI and SPDIF/Optical on the rear of the box both pass DD5.1 on the Sky HD+

not if you want to do it over hdmi you will need somthing like this

You'll have to use the optical out on the sky box as the hdmi doesn't passthrough 5.1 on the sky HD box mate

My bad forgot its the HD+ box as i know they rectified this on the Multiroom DRX-595 HD Box which does pass 5.1 via HDMI
