15ooci on astra 2d

Hi all
Just got given a 1500 ci and connected it to a redundant digi dish on astra 2d (i`ve got cable everywhere else) and I noticed the firmware is at least 3 years old. Would updating the box do anything I don`t already get or should I just leave it until I can afford a motorised dish.

If it's fixed on 28.2e leave it as only thing worth opening is 1 west digi tv.
