1 Red Light

Hi, my mates 360 has gone down and it has got 1 red light and was just wondering what this problem is, it was bought last crimbo so is still under warranty and also hasn't been opened so could it be sent back to MS as it is or would he have to do something to get it RROD, also any idea if this would have the Lite-On drive or the Toshiba, as I am thinking bout getting it off him but don't have a clue how to check or anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Regardless of wether or not it is RROD'ing, the machine is still under warranty, either take it back to the place you bought it or send it back to Microsoft.
