If you want a cheap DVD recorder this is OK but if you need multi-region playback forget it. Although stated as multi-region,it is not. Presumably it could converted but nobody seems to know how and the manufacturers have not given instructions. As Amazon are advertising it as multi-region, it is perhaps incumbent on it to post instructions as to how to multi-region it or withdraw its misleading information so that other buyers won't be duped.



This machine is not multi region - if it is it must be hidden, as no instructions are available for making it so either in the manual or on the web.
Very slow to set channels up
has problems recording - doesnt like Extended record mode using popular imitation brand disk - not sure what it is like with other brands
setting up is a pain - wanted it to record cable stuff - but both use AV channel so conflicts arise and can therefore only record normal tv, no digital signal stuff - or at least set up instructions dont give.
