recently i manged to get 256k broadband (if u can call it bb), anyway before that i had a very slow dial-up, about 35k it was running at best. Well i tried a similar speed boosting isp, that gave 5 times more speed with normal dial-up by using a compression software. It definately made a difference! Downloads were much faster, and if you didnt mind low quality pics while browsing then you could get the brows speed up to equivelent of my 256k! So it seems strange, but for those stuck with dial-up it may be worth testing, i was negative before trying, but i would recommend it now.
