Try loading 107p to see if it helps. Issues are well documented with the blind search in the 5402 hd series M1 and M2. That fuction ( Blind Search ) simply does not work properly. Real pain in the arse. Truly sorry to post in these terms. All the best jamsb.

You don't say which version of this Stb. you have. For M1 version use 136p plus s/cam. For M2 version use 107p plus s/cam. Best to have a good read and make sure you load the correct s/ware for your box.

Hello Zorch, I also noticed this on the M2 series also. It was not present on 101 0r 102p. From thereon it does happen frequently on new patches. I agree with you , better channel clears a little slower with better quality lock, picture. All the best. jamsb.

You could well be correct. Usually the signal picture is instant . No doubt it will reveal itself, if there is change afoot.

They are both currently open with the usual method.9.46 am. 12686 H 5600. It did take a minute for the signal to come in.
