find parental lock on gemini image

Hi, can you find the parental lock code on a gemini image using the remote like you can on a neutrino image?? My m8's wife has locked it for the XXX channels( by accident she says, dunno what she did she says). I told him he aint missing much but each to their own. He would like to find her pin code and watch it without having changing to the code so she is non the wiser..thanx in advance

FTP to your box and go to this folder...

/var/tuxbox/config/enigma

There's a file called config

View it (or copy to your PC) and look for lines like...

i:/elitedvb/pins/parentallock=
i:/elitedvb/pins/setuplock=

These are hex numbers. Use your windows calculator in Scientific mode, click on Hex, enter the value in your file (last 4 numbers, not with the zeros in front of them), click Dec and that will be your pin.

cheers for that, i guess he will have to bring the box round here as i know for sure he wont be able to get box to commincate with pc
