Wetek - Android TV

Hi guys

I have a raspi2 , and i'm seeing a lot of things about this wetek

does anybody have one of this?

is it worth it?

I got one using for sat and with openelec I think they are very good, not used android side yet. Can be tricky to setup sat for some maybe

Got one a few weeks ago, haven't really got round to doing an autopsy.
But I have it running a few apps and a FTA channel list.
Looks promising but still under development, very early to say what it is or isn't capable of.

What i'm reading it's that this box has good things,

the versality of the openelec and android.

Possibility to use plug and play tuners.

I read that with raspi2 i can make a client from wetek and watch the channels available on wetek.

It seems nice

Ordered one and now have it, hope its as good as the reviews its been getting

Anyone know if you can install the likes of Rats bouquet into the wetek ? And also where does the ??line go ?

with the OpenATV 5.0 BETA I think you can yes if using OpenATV 5.0 BETA the line will go ware it gos on all e2 images

So i need to flash a new image in ?

Super box ! I happy that buy it. I reccomend.

There's a new openatv image release for the wetek.Not sure on what's different but just load it onto a micro sd card and boot from it.
The android side of the wetek is sweet...everything that an m8 or T8 can do and more.
Only downside is that the remote is very small and can be a nuisance sometimes when switching from mouse mode to keys.
Overall it's a great box and beats the amiko a3 hands down.

i'm very happy with it.

I bought another wetek from openelec with tuner.

i have my wetek on the living room being a server and the other on my room.

Works flawless!
