First off I am not very savvy with computers, so bear with me.
I am trying to clean install win 8.1 pro 64 bit on a Dell latitude d 620 which has vista 32 bit on it, and is 64 bit capable.
I enabled boot from dvd drive in bios setup by hitting F2. I started windows and put the disk into the dvd drive, then restarted the laptop, and when booting hit F12 to boot from dvd drive. I get as far as the windows logo after pressing any key instruction. It will not go any further. I tried the disk in another PC and it worked, what am I doing wrong.
