Do you have tutorial on how to update the picons?

I have vu duo.

This is the section for Picns. Download the pack you want and replace the existing one. Rat also updates his pack.

depending where you will have them stored mate really, FTP the picon folder to either USB or HDD

/media/hdd < I think thats the correct location, I use USB myself

after installing reboot box

Hi mate

I am not sure where it is at the moment within hdd. i had a look in via ftp and cant see where picons are sat within the folders/files.

Hi, if you can't see the folder, they're not there. Just copy the folder over. Incidentally, the picons would be better on a USB drive, if you have lots of internal memory then that would be the best option. If you have them on HDD you end up waking the disk whenever the channel changes.

hey, soz I have a similar question, I want to put the picons in internal flash, where should I ftp the folder to, the root?

this would be a terrible mistake. Just buy a cheap USB and put them there media/usb/picon not picons, using firefox and Fireftp

I can't get my channel picons to show at all
I have tried them in /media/usb, but that is NOT on the USB stick I put in the box.. for some reason that becomes /media/mmc1

How do I change the mount points cos I'm convinced my image is not making them in the correct places.

Suppose it depends on your image but you should be able to mount the stick via your device manager, if not try TSPanel.
Also make sure that the folder you copy to the stick with the picons in is named picon

Thanks for the reply.
After much faffing I managed to ge them to work
I am using a Merlin 3 image with the HD GLass 16 skin. within the skin setup there is a configurable picon path, so I just made it /media/hdd and FTP'd a bunch of picons on there in the suggested picon DIR and hey presto !

Not as far as I know.
Don't think any TM600 images supported picons but I may be mistaken.
