Hi again gagzy,

A quick question... Are you using DiSEqC 1.2 positioning on the TM 5402 HD or are you using USALS positioning...?

Zorch

hi mate, using DiSEqC 1.2 have not a clue how to get it. could you explain to me how you get this sat please, thanks

Hi again gagzy,

Adding a new satellite position TM 5402 HD

First... move your dish to Astra 4A at 4.8°E... this is the closest satellite to the new position that you are looking for... then...

Press 'Menu'
'Installation'
Press 'OK'
'Satellite Setup'
Press 'OK'
'Satellite'
Press 'OK'
Drop-down box appears
Scroll down to an empty (0.0E) satellite position
Press 'OK'
Press 'Green'
Use 'on-screen keyboard' to name new satellite position 'Eutelsat 3C'
Press 'Exit'
Press 'Yellow' to save new satellite position
Press 'Exit'
Scroll down to 'Advanced Search'
Enter frequency 12.651/symbol rate 27500/polarization H
Press 'Exit'
Scroll up to 'Motorized Setting'
Press 'OK'
Scroll down to 'DiSEqC Motor'
Press 'OK'
Drop-down box appears
Select 'USALS'
Scroll down to 'Sat Degree'
Enter 003.1° E
Press 'Exit'
Select 'Yes' to 'Settings were changed - Do you want to save?'
Go back into 'Motorized Setting'
Change 'USALS' setting back to 'DiSEqC Motor 1.2'
Go down to 'Move' or 'Move Fine'
Use 'Volume' controls (◄) and (►) to locate the new frequency/satellite
Slowly move your dish to the 'West'

***On my set-up the 'Volume' (►) moves the dish to the 'West'*** (yours may be different)

When you have located the frequency/satellite (at it's strongest signal readings) scroll down to 'Save' and press 'OK'... select 'Yes' to 'Settings were changed - Do you want to save?'

Press the 'Red' button (box appears) press 'OK'... the channels will then download from the frequency and the receiver will automatically exit all menus...

NB
Unfortunately... the only way to move the new satellite position 'Eutelsat 3C' to it's correct position within your satellite list is by using either NDFEditor 1.64 or the Technomate Channel Editor...

I hope this helps...

Best Wishes,
Zorch
