This will indeed fit on a dl DVD. The capacity of a dl DVD is 7.98GB despite the fact they have 8.5GB printed on them. The unpacked size of this image is 7.85GB so it will fit on a dual layer DVD. That's not to say that you should attempt to burn it to play because XGD3 have a different layerbreak position than XGD2! I'll await proper tools myself!
