Hi,

Am new to PS3 hacking but I've googled a lot and I'm still a bit lost.

The only thing I want to do is be ftp games over to the HDD and run them with no disc required.

I installed Waninkoko cfw as googled told me that this has the best game support but I can't seem to install Gaia Manager v2.04 for Waninkoko 3.55 CFWv2 I get error 80029567.

I know there are not many packages signed to Waninkoko but I thought as this was meant for it, it should work?

Can someone recommend what is the best firmware for my requirments?

I'd appreciate any help as I'm totally lost!!

Thanks in advance!

Personally, i think the KMEAW is the better firmware as waninkoko bricked a few older consoles.

Once that is installed, go for the most recent version of MultiManager. i used to prefer Gaia but it stopped supporting some newer games and didn't have the features M.M. has. If you install M.M. also install the BDEMU.pkg

KMEAW has proven to be the best and most stable CFW IMHO.

From where you are at I would,

1) - Re-install the OFW 3.55
2) - Install KMEAW 3.55 CFW
3) - Install BD-EMU V2
4) - Install Multiman 2.01.00
5) - FTP games over or use external drive and play.

All the files are available, just be very careful to check sources as google for stuff can be real dangerous, there are bugged and even dodgy firmware's out there for the PS3.

If you get stuck send me a PM as I have all the files and can make them available on my FTP.
