Has there ever been a fix for the card freeze while only using cccam on TM 500 super

Nope..as far as I know this has never been fixed. Dont hold your breath on this one, it was reported to UR TEAM about a year and a half ago, for orignal TM500/600, there was a post on the forum somewhere with UR TEAM saying they will wix my the end of some random month last year...guess what...nothing happened...

The unofficial workaround is to use NewCS to read the card then share into CCCam...which although works..means your card wont autoupdate entitlements so you have to put card back into offiicial reciever every few weeks.

If you need the CCCam server function just buy a cheap Dm500 clone, on which this works flawlessly.

My brother bought tm 500 already and is now looking to set up house share by buying more tm 500 but I told him about the probs and was just checking to see if a fix ever happened. I guess he will by dm 500 now. I dont want to be negative but if you read any of my posts you will know that I am an installer mostly FTA for people and use technomate. But here is another problem that hasent been addressed and will now cause TM to loose sales.

it works and updates fine with newcs and mgcamd, and doesnt have all the security 'issues' that go with cccam
