Sorry if this has been covered before but I do recall many posters having the problem of slow/sluggish responce between the remote & the dreambox 800HD.
I've lived with this problem since I bought my clone 800HD in sept 2009 ,.....finally I found a working fix & the part can be bought in any good electronics supplier or HERE
1,..open the 800 & remove the top cover.
2,..detatch the ribbon cable from the front panel.
3,..the front panel is held in place by 3 clips which slot into the base of the 800,..press these clips inwards whilst removing the front panel.
4,..remove the 2 small screws to seperate the green PCB from the front panel.
5,..the 3pin IR receiver (top right in the pic) is the problem & needs to be replaced with IR Receiver TSOP4838.
