Ireland deserved to go through on that display tonight - everything was loaded against them - tough group - tough (fixed) play off draw and then TH14 handles the ball to level it on the night and snatch the aggregate winner. I watched Henry for years at Arsenal and I never had him down as a cheat but that was terrible. there was a footy game out i used to have it and it did have a "dive" button.

but thread wise what did anyone expect from the "FRENCH", cheating coward c*nts,

with some irish blood i feel kind of ripped off, its stupid in this day and age that something seen or caught on video cant and wont change anything, only in football eh? rugby league uses video replays and it doesnt slow the game down and the resulting score or denial usually adds to the tension of the people watching, the groans as they see a knock on before touch down ect... it would add to the game if anything and keep results right.

It's about time the 4th official could have a say once seeing the replays.
Cheating appears to be endemic in football, the punishments are nowhere near as harsh as they should be.

Seems it's ok for the big teams of europe to cheat their way around tournaments/leagues at the expense of smaller teams/leagues.

Platini will have this swept under the carpet no doubt.

I gotta see this replay, as a footballer I know that I have to play to the whistle no matter what happened. But if he went over and grabbed the ball as the dramatic claims are, then really the whistle should have been blown.

If it was a sleight of hand, any footballer would carry on unless the whistle was blown.
