Bod's How to set-up CCcam with pics

Recreated Bod's excellent post without the weblinks:

i will explain to the newbie how to Cccam on gemini , we need dcc ( dreambox control centre ) to upload the Cccam into dreambox

1/ press on blue button through remote control

2/ press on addons

3/ press on download (Gemini-Server)

4/ press on Cam

5/ choose CCcam 2.0.9

6/ press yes to confirm

7/ back to first list and choose cam-config

8/ choose CCcam-Config 2.0.9

9/ press yes to confirm

10/ we go back to main menu and change common interface to CCcam 2.0.9 press green buton

11/ go to d.c.c

12/ put dreambox ip

13/ follow which is on the pic

14/ the red light will change to green one if not be sure u made somthing wrong

15/ we will transfer the CCcam.cfg into var/etc ( if u have cline make copy/past into ccam.cfg)

16/ follow which is on the pic

17- press Si to confirm

finally u need to restart your dreambox to get your account working

part 15, which is "we will transfer the CCcam.cfg into var/etc", i do not understand, cccam was downloaded into the dreambox via the image, is this another cccam file, if so, does anyone have a link for it

Where do you get the cccam.cfg that you are transferring from the hotboy folder? I would have thought when you installed the cccam updates it would install automatically into the var/etc folder, am i wrong?

sometimes a server provider will give you a confg. file instead of juct c lines
