have a dead sammy so got a new one ther so now just want to flash it. What the easiest way? ive flashed loads of drives but not sure how to set iprep up this time as i have already got the ofw. do i still need to read the new drive? how will iprep get the key from the original fw and make the new cfw?

Just swap the PCB's over mate.

cant the drive is dead. just need to know how to flash onto the new drive i already have my original fw from befroe so this shouldnt be hard

Do you have MSN? Ill guide you through it on there - PM me ;)

Looks like oggy gonna take care of you mate :) ....hope you get it sorted :) ....and well done oggy

anyone point me in the right direction? just incase i miss oggy lol. will i have to just insert the key to the cracked fw myself then just flash that fw onto the new drive? what do you use for that then? fw toolbox i guess?

well opened up the samsung1.4 ixtreme rar and used "Make iXtreme firmware.cmd" so now have ix14.bin with my drive key in and spoofed to ms28.

just to flash it now.. whats the easiest way to flash it over? could i just use iprep? where would i need to put the ix14.bin on the usb drive? would it just be the root? what commands will i need to get it to flash?

cheers for the help all!

ok sorted it there. incase anyone else wants to know how to do this i done the above and renamed the ix14.bin to sam-cfw.bin and made to correct folder on the iprep usb drive. then just typed fsam and the number of the folders for sam-cfw.bin and flashed ok as normal
all working now!

Cheers all!

I thought oggy had sorted you mate.... oh well I'm glad to hear you got it sorted and lets be honest its a much greater sense of achievement when you've worked things out on your own...well done mate :Clap::Clap:
