I've just been having an update session with my PSP and had a few nice surpises along the way so I thought I'd start from scratch n document what I'd done.
What I thought the best thing to do as I have a pandora bat was create a new pandora ms using despertar_cementerio 4. this will take PSP straight to 3.80 M33-5.
Reading through the readme of des I got to here:
as with most things I do, even now in writing this - LOL, I'm easily distracted off at a tangent, went looking for corly149 tool, found, read readme n got to here:
I thought fcukit, I'm having a go!
** I Can CONFIRM 100% corly149 tool ospbt_0.52 worked fine on a Slim Bat I made on a Slim PSP running 3.71 M33-2**
** YES I made Pandora n returned to normal a Slim Bat! **
Tools used:-
1. Clean Out of the Packet 4gb ms. - (It's a fake n I wozn't sure if it would be ok)
2. despertar_cementerio 4
3. mspformat
4. msinst
5. Offical Updates 1.50, 3.40, 3.80

NO Offical Updates!
It's not my fault if U fcukup, It worked for me 100%
Edit: I didn't think much of it at the time but, after turning my bat back to normal I had green power light n black screen after PSP entered sleep mode, didn't seem to respond with normal flick power so I held power for approx 15 seconds which powered off PSP fully. I also shortened sleep settings to test. Bat has functioned normally since.

Reading through the readme of des I got to here:
- Now you have an universal pandora ms ready to go, and you just need a proper
battery. If you have 1.50 kernel access, use c+d tool. Otherwise, use corly149 tool.

- whomever it was who scared everyone into not testing the battery creators with slim
batteries. You were wrong. It works fine if you only write the serial.
