Since we are getting lots of open requests (completely in public view) for cardshare servers, these are my views/experiences to hopefully make you guys think more.

1) Firstly lets explain about 'public' servers. If you find one and can join it publically then more than 9 times out of 10 it will be total crap. If its easy to join it will be over-subscribed and not work well, with constant break-ups if you're lucky but probably worse.
2) If you get offered connection somewhere privately then likely you will have to pay. Remember there are lots of people out there that will want to take your money and leave you with a bad taste. You will likely lose your money and end with nothing, so invest at your own risk.
3) When you connect you are giving out your details. You can be traced. Remember what you are doing is something that is illegal. You have now been warned so I hope you are all more cautious.
4) Recap, beware of commercial rip-offs, beware of scammers, beware of law enforcement, AND be aware of - hackers. With knowledge of your ip, knowledge of open ports, maybe even some personal knowledge like passwords, and ......a dude in need that can easily be lead (no offence), you are open to attack.

I just want you to be a bit more sensible. Why not start your own shares with friends or with people you can trust, rather than being an open target.

Take care.

i think the problem is that there is not info on sharing cards useing the new sssp on tm1500 etc, if someone supplied sharing info then i for one would share my art sports card with selected guys who would share back, but is this possible with tm yet?

And i have always said you get what you pay for

i had a brilliant free polsat one that lasted a week so i know it works but ive heard there are several paid ones that will not work, has anyone paid for a server yet and was it worth it and can you pass the info where you got it so those who want to pay for it, can

I really donmt have a clue how to work this sssp for teh technomate so no chance of me using it lol
