Thanks babylon5 i done what it said in that thead(manually) i went to file manager then key list but i couldnt edit any numbers/letters!!

i will have a another go at it tomorrow im off to bed now work in the morning!!

you need to enter the keylist.txt file by pressing 4 then press ok and you will be able to edit. Dont press ok to enter the keylist.txt file. Easy mistake to make

you will also need to select 1 and change the rights to enable you to edit and not just view.

if you see 1... Rights 3... view and 4... blank

then you need to select 1 first then select 4 after that to edit the text file. also you will need to disable the autoupdate in config_cmd file same as last time round

Hey guys,

Just back from abroad and have found the old d-box is kaput - not too sure why?! Anyway, I've had a look around and was hoping someone could help me out with a little guidance for the Edinburgh area. I'm using Al's Virgin lite image on a sagem 1x d-box.

I think this is going to happen quite frequently at least for the next few days at least unless a porgramme is writen so the box updates when n*l do.

Got my d500c back up and running using dboxkeys (FTP key updater)

Click "Get the latest keys please"

Click "Write file"

Type in user name, password & IP address (root, dreambox & IP address of your box!)

Click "FTP file to box"

JOB DONE! rums:

NOTE: Must disable autoupdate in the /var/keys/camd_cfg

edit #AU
change A01) to (00)

PS - Make sure you save the changes when you exit!!!

Reboot or restart cam and your box should be back up and running................

It depends which region you are in - pure nthell, exCW, exTW, use the code for your region. If you are not sure just try each set until you get channels and you will know from then on.

edit #AU line
change A(01) or A(02) to A(00)

Make sure you save the changes when you exit

Reboot or restart cam

replace the old ones, you can create a backup of the flile if you are ftping.
