Ive just purchased a foscam CCTV camera, a f19804w to be specific.

I havent had a chance to set it up at the moment, due to be offshore, but I want it to be able to display a live feed on my TV.

I have an ACER Revo connected to the TV which acts as my HTPC, running XBMC up front on win 7. I would like to have some software installed on the revo to display the live feed. At the moment XBMC is upfront, and I would like the live feed to run in the background and I can click it up front when needed.

I have looked around for software, but it all seems to be paid stuff. I was wondering if there is any free software out there which will allow me to view, and record footage and snapshots - with motion detection etc.?

Any ideas?

I would be surprised if the makers didn't give you a free app to download from their site, but in case they don't, I downloaded this for a DVR I picked up cheap, and it works for a couple of cheap P&T webcams I already had. (Shame the DVR didn't work lol!)

SADP (V2.1.0.2) - Tools - Download - Support - Hikvision

(BTW, they're right when they say "kind of user-friendly"!!)
