Routers vodaphone

my son on Vodaphone broadband so i took my vpn tp link router round so we can watch the footy but cant get it to work have turned both routers off powered back on but the tp link router light goes orange but stays there will not go blue took tp link back to mine bang working ???

When you say it's not working, could you elaborate a little?

Do you get an IP from the router?
If so, what IP do you get?
Can you ping the IP of the router from the home network? (external IP)

Well it sounds like you're trying to use a cable router on an ADSL connection. Which I doubt will work. Can you send a picture of the connections, or explain a little more what the issue is please.
