I know even after this real Historic development people will complain is in HUMAN style ,but i be happy to support them more then i can....is new Bebe Box and so far has had really very nice development and without living people to watch TV with all those channels incuding.......

hi bobi there,you seem to know alot about the spiderbox m8, the spiderbox sounds a good box, i have read alot about them but what put me off was the part about only client, but now gonna be server as wellm so good news, i have heard alot about this receiver on this site and another very big site i am on, where is the cheapest place i can get one from, i am looking at the 9000hd the cheapest i have seen is 180 pound, but looking for better price, i have friends who are looking at a new sat box and i am looking around for the best for them, so if tou know anywhere that does them cheap then let me know please on here or if not allowed links on here to other sat shops then pm me please thanks

Will the ability to pair the box with the card be introduced at the same time as the server?
Otherwise would it not be a pointless exercise to make it into a server if the card you put in only gets half its functionality.

the spiderteam seem to be working hard on fix,s for the known issues so hopefully it wont be to long before the spider is a very good hi-def box for the masses. myself im waiting for c**am 2.14! regards mdt

Agreed, if spiderbox can get this right it has a winner for a long time yet.

People wanna hear of stability and support, and support atm is 2nd to none with regularly patches/new channels which no one else on the market appears to be doing on such a regular basis.

But it needs to be working and stable also otherwise the other half doesnt make up for it

I dont know much about the spider but I would be a little concerned about sticking my subed cards into a box that is not open source. Maybe im being thick here but wouldent it be very easy for the controller of the software to add reshare of any cards added back to there own sever.

well i think im a little dissapointed
the eaglebox will stay out and not be put away
i think we all hoped that the server function would use Cccam
and the issue's of 2.1.3 & 2.1.4 be resolved
the box has a chipset that in another stb uses enigma 2 open source linux
maybe its to bigger job to re-write the firmware for the spiderbox
any how i guess the newcamd function is an improvement however perhaps c/s is
not going to be as easy as first anticipated as majority use Cccam

however thanks to the darkman and his team for the new updates

If was Spiderbox No server Master was no Good people Could not Share...

Now we done Spidebox in People request now is not good again because some one will use their card...

To extract the Box key use some tools from google...

I am just pointing out a "FACT" a closed source box like a spiderbox "CAN" reshare any cards added by anybody stupid enougth to put a card into it.

So instead of sitting on the fence about it and being polite as in the first post I made I want everyone to understand that this could indeed be done.

When you have a little more experience with c/s you will understand that newcs can share to CCcam. Sharing with the spider server just requires that you learn how to give your friends an N-line instead of a C-line.

Once you know that, you will find that the newcamd setup for clients is a lot easier than setting it up in a dreambox or similar receiver.

But you DO need to learn a little.
