been using sat for quite a few years with dm 800 and now with an amiko alien 2 triple tuner
with recent events am forced to move over to cable
i have hyprion v5 image on the am2 with s sat set up
would i need to change image for cable to work if so can you recommend one
i would also need to set up auto banquets which at the moment i use auto banquets e2 would this work or is this strictly for sat
any advice would be very greatfull
kindest regards

last time i tried auto banquets maker it failed to work
i have cable line in but scanning finds no channels
but a cable banquets might sort this thing about it as i have sat on atm
if you know where auto banquets could you point me in the direction please
many thanks for reply

you need to be on a working virgin channel....in the first place to get the Autoboquets C2 to work....i use this on my ultimo...i do a manual scan from the services searching menu....by entering my area details..let it scan a single transponder..takes about 3 secs....finds about 30 odd channels...i use the virgin media preview channel....then run the autoboquets C2 on that channel...takes about 7 mins to find all channels and creates the boquets..

no bud not getting any channels no matter what i try
edit @johnny bravo
think i worked it out
when scanning it looks to be scanning terrestrial which i think is normal arial and not cable
