Cable station The Performance Channel will finally be making a launch on Sky Digital, it was announced this week.
The station, which has been running exclusively on cable since its initial launch almost ten years ago, will arrive on the EPG on February 1st, with tests beginning a couple of weeks prior.
"In recent months there have been increasing numbers of enquiries from viewers asking for the channel to be made available on satellite," said Julian Aston, Performance MD. "The volume of calls and emails rose sharply in September, following NTL's decision to drop the channel from its cable service. Performance on satellite is the outcome."
Sirius Television, the broadcaster which operates a network of retail channels including TV Warehouse and Txt Me, will handle the satellite broadcast of the channel.
