No response FlightStats app

Have used the FlightStats App on my Samsung tablet for a number of years now, but since last weekend
I just get the error message " Request Failed ".
Is the FlightStats Server Down, or is the problem my end ?

What was changed to get it working again?

Changed nothing, just clicked on the app when I got up this morning, and away it went.
Great app which I missed when it went down
