cheers again for the info, i did check e*** yesterday and there's a guy selling a 1.2m setup with the 1224 that he bought from sss, he wants £1000 ??
That one does have an inclined actuator plus there's a 3" ground mount tripod and a 3" wall mount, Channel Master 1.2, feedhorn but I doubt you'd get £1000 for it all and the inclined actuator on the 1224 is in the wrong place, you have to drive to a satellite then move the inclined actuator, it works & you get used to it like that but it should really be on the dec angle not axis angle so you are always tracking the arc.
I spoke to sss about the h180 and they said they were unreliable and too small for the cm 1.2 hence why they stopped selling them. I really do prefer an H-H motor though due to the size.
regards
They most likely have improved them since SS first tested the early ones, I've seen them come through the worst storms and not missed a beat with CM 1.2s on them, as I say though the U bolts should be beefed up especially for bigger dishes (IMO).
I think it's up to you on that 36v HH being sold off, just not tried one, looks better with the CM brackets without that pole.
