It wont work... It will require you to switch out and purchase a bridge and use the Lutron Connect app, which is a far superior app anyway

From what I heard, the Lutron Home app will not be supported from april 2020. There are a couple of possibilities, such as VPN to reach your network/Lutron from outside or to buy Lutron bridge...

FYI - if you have a Lutron Bridge and it is too old to be updated by Lutron Connect - then sometimes Lutron are going to replace it free of charge.
Unfortunately you have to pay for getting the new Lutron Bridge added to your system (at least if it is Homeworks QS as my is)
