Amazing! Sargie posted a weblink in post no.7 which confirmed conclusively that it was a scam.

Since then, we've had another eleven posts telling him that it's a scam! :Laugh:

infact nara i said in post one i guess it's for identity theft lol but i wasnt 100% at that point.

Cheers for all the replys though at least threads like this help protect others.

The minute it said the tax office "wanted" to give a rebate that you hadn't asked for I smelt a rat.

No rebates from them unless you ask/beg.

it is quite clever that they have used links to the pukka site......you can see how some folks could/will be caught out and give all the details to enable these shisters to use the cc details they have given.

anyway ive filled in the details hope they try and use my details...

its the wrong time of year for a rebate anyway,maybe this time next month would be more like it when the year endings have been sorted out,its got to be a phishing scam.they would use all the real links then redirect you to there host
