Is it possible to multiboot old image with new image??

Hi

Hope someone can help me, ive got a dm800 clone sim 2.01 bl76.

Basicly I need to run and old image, gemini 4.2 and the latest dream elite image from my dreambox.

Some people say I can use meoboot, but ive read in some places that you can only run old images with old images, or new with new.

Is this correct?

Can anyone help me setup, im not a noob and will be able to follow any steps.

The images have to be the same kernel to work, eg kernel 1.5 in flash kernel 1.5 in multiboot, or kernel 1.6 in flash and kernel 1.6 in multiboot.
