Don't know if anyone knows but ...
I got one of those Technosonic tv's that woolies were selling like hotcakes. Good tele and its dual voltage and multisystem i.e. plays both pal and ntsc.
I took the tv to America and works fine on DVD player (via hdmi), Coolsat 5000 (satellite receiver via a/v) but not through tv aerial.
The coolsat only picks up one channel as its a old one but the cable aerial (motel one which has more channels) works on the analogue tv but not my lcd.
The cable is a coaxial cable so I got one of those connectors that you plug into the tv antenna slot on the tv.
Pic comes but its black and white, snowy and not aligned plus no sound. I have tried all the tuning auto and manual etc etc etc.
Anyone got any ideas? It could be I need to get a NTSC to PAL converter but since this being a multisystem tv, I thought it would pick up the signal fine. It certainly did with the coolsat.
Maybe there is a difference between connecting via a/v and tv antenna. Maybe if I get a coaxial to a/v connector.
