Surely must depend on whether they have a camera covering the lane??

I have seen specs camera only covering certain lanes, so it seems obvious that if you change lanes it might be possible to not be detected

I guess to be 100% then yes, but I have done above the speed limit slightly and swapped lanes to no punishment

Actually its fiction, its an urban myth.

The cameras record all lanes and can even tell you that you changed lanes during your 'speed'.

Changing lanes only worked on the old cameras apparently. The new ones still catch the speeders even if they have changed lanes. I know as a friend works for the company!!
