didnt you need planning permission for that? normaly you do for a fixed building which was nor originally there
Nice job, but I've noticed that there have been four questions so far about planning permission.
Planning regulations were changed in 2008. Permission isn't now needed for many projects, including extensions, loft conversions, garages/sheds etc so long as they are below a certain size.
the planning portal has lots of usefull info.
this part gives more detail on outbuildings.
I think the rules are pretty much the same in Scotland but the planning portal only covers England and Wales.
Yea am aware of the edgings mate, got a supplier near me who is cheap as chips and very helpful. Will have drip edges around front for guttering and raised around back so no water falls off/damp etc. Also realise they do 90' corners but not too sure what to get for the 45' ?
if your supplier doesnt have the 45' corners ,"miter the raised edging then m8"....thats what i done
its a fiddly job so dont worry if they are not perfect joints....................attach the miterd edging to the ply then cover the joints with masking tape..."then cover over the masking tape with the topcoat tissue and grey flowcoat
perfect strong joints
