android box help needed

iv set myself one up in the bedroom works fine but the problem is when i press ok on the box remote in turns the tv off if i press return it changes channel on the tv is there any thing i can do or is it just bad luck cheers

Could be an IR noise issue? IR noise sources include fluorescent tubes, CFL bulbs, and even the TV itself.

A piece of masking tape over the offending IR receiver is a quick and easy test. It should block background noise, but not the signal from the IR blaster (i.e. the remote).
