After 4 monthes certain channels freeze for about 6 or 7 seconds

Trim the coax back and make the cable end the same as a tv aerial connector,does away with the screw f connector plug.

Same problem here.
Noticed recently on the movie channels and erm the porn channels.

Screen freezes along with the sound, noticed it started about fortnight ago but it does seem to be happening more often now.

Thanks for all the advice chaps, but for some strange reason ive had no freezing today, i didnt change anything from yesterday so therefore i put it down to the Modifations that are being done nation wide, so hang fire and i am sure it will come back to normal as soon as the changes are finished.

Mine has froze a few times today but as it seems to be a nationwide problem and beyond our control, i guess we have to wait for them to stop messing about.

i'm in the north east mate and have exactly the same thing happening as you.

On my dreambox that i bought a few months ago all the chaennels were perfect and then on the channels that you have mentioned i get exactly the same, freezing, picture break up and then no channel infomation.

So i'm in the same boat as you mate.

I'm getting the same thing here - in Bournemouth. Started about 2 weeks ago. Not sure if it happens on the subbed box, as we hardly ever use it now...

My box has been stable for many months and i too have noticed that the picture freezes for a few seconds then resumes. BER and SNR are normal all the way through the freeze. My subbed box does the same.

Seems like they are tweaking something somewhere. Do not adjust your boxes.

it has been appauling today ! grrr

snr levels remain the same when the freezing occurs

it is as if new keys are being generated and the box takes a few seconds to download them

my boxes do this only noticed it about a mth ago i have had the slx booster on my boxes for over a year my boxes were good with the booster on tried lots of images still get the odd freeze that lasts a few seconds then all is ok for hours then the same thing happends again it does not bother me but i did go through loads of images most did the same thing for me
