Just put it as an attachment in this thread, or alternatively you can email it to me.

I think I have attached the file correctly...

OK i've had a little look. Are you able to give me Telnet (port 23) and FTP (port 21) access to your DBOX?

Check the output of the mount command in your bootlog.
Hi mgb, where is the bootlog located on the Pacino 2.1 image on Dbox? Didn't think to look @ anything like that!
I have checked all the basics like network settings etc. Started from the beginning again. I noticed the drive isn't mounting as in devilfish's suggestion.
This one has me beat.

Sorted out Gaizka's problem via WinVNC :) Was very difficult and none of your suggestions were even close to the answer lol.

@Qball, to get the boot log you connect a null modem cable to the box and your PC, and use HyperTerminal (or similar program) to record the output whilst the box boots :) save as a .txt file and upload.

It also works ok on my pacino 2.1 sagem. Try enabling "simple file sharing" in xp. chmod your /mnt/hdd directory to 777 using your ftp client.

Edit: see problem isnow sorted. Will try reading all posts in future!

Thanks, i'm back  for the heads up on the log.
How did you actually fix the problem? Any quick tips?

Can you enlighten us all how you fixed it.....

The image where the autoroll was working didnt have the proper kernel filesystem support. Therefore no CIFS, NFS, SMBFS etc could be mounted.

The image where the autoroll WASNT working DID have the kernel support, but encrypted channels did not work. I copied the CIFS support files out of the mountable image into the one where the autoroll was working, but the kernel versions did not match, and therefore that was a no go.

So I extracted all the files out of the working image and tried putting them into the image that had CIFS support. The Gbox was not working because there were major structural differences between the 2 images. I rewrote some of the configuration files, edited the startup files, and put all the emu files into different locations. CHMOD 755 literally EVERYTHING (including key files as these did not seem to work without).

And after that voila, Gbox kicked in and descrambled channels :) Well, thats the main bit anyway lol. It was alot more complicated than it sounds!

You lost me at the Image!
Good job though.

what can I say...
Big thank you to "I'm back" it took us a little while to get where we wanted..
Thanks everyone!

well, I have been trying to get the mount thing going but with no success...

"i'm back" spent a long time trying to get my old image to autoroll, which he did!, but now the modified image does not mount either... the original one still does, but does not autoroll...

Now we now that the image that I uploaded here does not have support for mounting shares... would it be possible to get the data I need from the autoroll image that I uploaded here and add it to any of the working images here in dw? I suppose it is but I am afraid I do not know where to start....

Thanks everyone for your time.
