VU+ Solo image

Hi guys
I have a vu+solo and been told its a clone , i had a vix image on it but it froze so i am afetr a new one ,could anyone point me in he right direction please,or a blackhole image .

Need more info. What does it state on front eactly? Something like "Solo2 SE" or "Solo3" or even just Solo"?

also there is a sticker on the bottom of the box with a BN number and Serial number ?

Do you know the security chip version of the box v2,3 or 3.2 ?

If you dont down the side of the card reader edge of the mobo is there an upright chip on a board ?

Need a pic of that.

Hard to say on your model mate

Chip near card reader is not the type a Ferrari box uses and its id has been scrubbed out.

just try a v2 image?

Yeah none of them will brick your box even a v3 image they just will not boot and you'll have to reflash till a version does boot.

got v2 image working now, should i just leave it as it is now? no point and trying v3 is there?

As i said the v3 image wont brick your clone it will either boot or not boot. If it does not boot you can reflash to the image you are using now.
