any one put the rats plugin updater on vu solo 2 I have tried and it wont install even tried to edit the confi file as it says in post 140 have blackhole image 2.0.7 any help

Is it easy to apply it to a dream box 800 I am using PL1. I am new to all this so I have very little knowledge. I know how to get into plug in I downloaded the epg which works great I done a few bouquet my self but not brilliant I would like a proper one your help would be appreciated thanks

Taken from post 1, picon plugin is installed the same

FTP the ipk to tmp folder
Depending on image used, on your receiver
Press Blue
Software Management
Install Local Extention
Memory /TMP
make sure a tick is in the file(s) you want to install
Green to install
Some images you may have to get to software management via menu

I'm using gstroom open pli 2.1 and am using rats bouquets and picons, which i love, but have a small problem.

The satellite.xml list on this image had no western satellites, so i got an up to date satellite.xml list and scanned all sats on my motorized dish.
But everytime i run rats bouquets on my dm 800 hd and say i restart ther box i loose my satellite.xml list and the old list comes back on the box with no western sats.

Anyone else have this problem.

Rats updater replaces any existing bouquets. You would be better off manually downloading his bouquets and merging them into existing bouquets and then transfer to receiver.

just to let you know that RTE1 is down because saorview frequency's have changed there on the 26th of this month and cant get RTE1 on the channel updater, RTE2, TV3, E3 & TG4 are still working 100%
hope you can fix asap as my mum-dad-sister-bother is crying about it

I dont have any other bouquets, just rats.
When i want to view other bouquets i just press the green button which brings up satellites.

Its when i run rats bouquet updater it replaces my satellite xml list with another list with no western satellites.
Do i have to run rats bouquet updater when there are frequency changes, or does it automatically do it itself, I thought the new bbc three hd channel and others came themselves the other day.

you have to run the plugin in order for it to download latest channel list that Rat has uploaded to server.

not sure which satellites are in the XML file used by Rat. Rather than Western, please specify range. eg 30w to 45e and Rat may adopt if applicable
