Don't be sorry mate its for my own good and its 10 quid less than I expected to spend lol I was looking to use plex to stream from my dm800 too like you say until CS is finished, it could be handy I was looking around and plex can be installed on sat boxes now too I even bought the android app yesterday its been streaming from my server over 3g great so I'm hoping it will be the same from my dm800 it will be similar to slygo I imagine.

roku came today m8 ,,its faster than the now tv box lm sure , streams alot faster ?

I'm still looking at them mate but I haven't ordered yet. since I got back in to work I don't seem to want to part with my money lol well it is a agency job so probably not a bad idea. I've been meaning to ask mate which roku did you get? I can't decide if to get a roku or put another £50 too it and get one of them HP servers that keep showing up with 100 quid cash back and upgrade the server instead just for power saving more than anything I'm using a dual core as a server at them min and thats doing everything I want I just want one I think lol.

Another thing I was reading around the other day and one person was saying they have 1200 tv channels on there's with a sd card in for buffering if I remember right, can these be used for iptv, navi-x etc do you know?

i got my now tv box this morning
ive got pms on pc with the un-supported apps installed,then i noticed summat at bottom
saying its not connected,do i have to register pms on the plex status web page ???
gonna install plex on the box tommorrow cos ive had a skinfull and dont wanna end up bricking it

ok i got plex onto the tv box with unsupported apps pretty impressed
tried a couple of channels out and it works ok
anyone know if there is more apps to put into plex ie 1 channel,sports devil,mash up tv etc

Does anyone know if there is a hack about to get Now TV working on rooted Android TV boxes probably not the best thread to ask in I know, I thought I was being clever buying a Droidx MX box instead of a Roku thinking I could tick more boxes I have Netflix working amongst other things but I didn't realise that nowtv wouldn't work should of clicked really its the same problem with skygo worst case scenario I will need two boxes plugged in. cheers.

going off what I've read the crap votes are because its incompatible with almost everything unless you have a s3/s4 it's no biggy I would of just liked to get everything on one box but I am happy with this DroidX Mx though I bought a netflix 12 month sub off flebay for £10 the other day and it works with that great and I have the option of xbmc or plex now too but tbh still prefer plex to look at and use.

Lol that is a good bit of sale's bull ain't it, the one I bought didn't have that but something similar,

lol it tickled me at the time but I thought if it lasts for 2 months I've had my moneys worth, Apparently its account sharing netflix knows it goes on but don't care you can sign up now for a family account and have 4 devices streaming at the same time but i'm not sure if that's US only so I'm assuming they sign up keep one and sell it on 3 times. its not a bad idea really with the regular account you can stream to 2 devices at a time so for instance if me and you was to chuck in and split the £6 a month membership it would be half price for the year not bad really 12 months for £36.

I'm trying to find something similar for spotify I had the free 12 month thing when I was on 50mb Virgin bb and that lasted longer than 12 months even though I knocked the 50 mb on the head after about 6mths looking around there are some tricks to keep getting the spotify premium 1 month trials over and over but I'm still trying to find out which work and which don't it would be good seeing as you can get spotify on the NowTv boxes too

Plex for NowTV version 2.6.9

I’ve put together the 2.6.9 build for Plex on the NowTV.

Here’s the lowdown on the update (from the Roku form on Plex)

NEW:
- Update supported H.264 level to 4.1.
- Add clock to home screen.

FIXES:
- Fix a crash when adding servers manually.
- Fix episode title when watched status changes. (thanks ljunkie!)

Install is the same as always, connect to the HTTP://ipAddress for the admin screen, upload the zip and make sure you get the installed OK message.
