Hi all read all the Tut's fine, but what i was wondering was, I live in the Bolton area where do i need a MAC code from ? how far away dose it have to be ? And can a mac code be from too far away ??

Hi m8.
From what i understand u need to find someone that is a few miles away from u and scan from there.

Alternativly u can post a request or do a search in the NTL Mac Trade Section

goto GRC.com to find out which ubr ure on.

it will b something like cpc3-kemp2-*-*-cust***.lutn.cable.ntl.com where *=numbers.

U will need a MAC from another area close to u.

eg i could use a MAC from cpc3-kemp1-*-*-cust***.lutn.cable.ntl.com
or cpc3-kemp3-*-*-cust***.lutn.cable.ntl.com
