Anyone got a X Solo MINI 2 (Dragonworth)?

Hi All,

Just getting one of these shipped, to use as a back up box and to take to the caravan.

Specs look good for the money too me, its Enigma2 with a BCM7358 CPU.

Flash Memory 256MB NAND Flash
DDR2 Memory 512MB DDR Memory
CPU 750 DMIPS Processor

I have had a search and cannot find any info about it, not too sure if it is a clone of something else, or what images may work on it.

It's a clone of the VU+solo.at the moment the last thing you want to be buying is any clone of a vu box due to them putting out a new timebomb/attrack that is disabling clone boxes..
Search and research very carefully what image you use and what ever image it ships with DO NOT online/in box update it..

It isn't a Vu clone. It Is a clone of e3hd family. At the moment Is bomb problem free. I have one of it with openspa 3.0 running and Is a excellent receiver.

I have to agree, its a brilliant little box.

Using OpenATV 4.1 on it at the moment and I'mreally impressed with it and the MetrixHD skin.

There is a software update for it on VU-HD, but I can't work out what it is for though.

Hi Vinnie1,
I have one of these boxes X Solo Mini2 excellent little box, do you have any guides on how to install a new 12 month gift guarantee to this box, received it with 12 month gift guarantee on it, having problems contacting supplier now, can get a new gift guarantee for it to install, just don't know how, can you help please.
Hope I am not breaking any rules m8t.

You need to install some sort of FTP programs on your computer.most common is dreambox control center.
You will need to enter your sat box IP address along with USER DREAMBOX AND PASSWORD ROOT.
You connect to your box using DCC and navigate to the file ETC or in some other images USER/KEYS find a file with your ccam config this is your sealion..you need to delete the sealion info there and insert your new sealion and close DCC.

Hi AJT. thanks for your input, you have lost me.

I don't know what DCC or FTP is , I do know sat box IP address and ccam config.
my box is X Solo MINI 2
All I can tell you is its Using OpenATV, Linux version 3.6.0, sealion is a newcamd I think, I am ok using openbox/slybox.
Is there anywhere where I can visit to find some tuts for what i'm looking for to enter the sealion.

dreambox control center
ftp is file transfer protocol
put ip of your dox in dcc to connect to your box

I should of realised that. Still not sure how to put sealion onto box.
looking like I will have to buy a new box.
Can't find anywhere with tuts on how to do this on this box.

openatv press menu go to plugins press green to download add-ons go to softcams install CCcam 2.30

go back to dreambox control center put your CCcam.cfg in usr / keys then press blue on your remote move down one go to softcam and start
