Events of the last week, or so, have led to many hasty posts, in unsuitable sections.

Use of the "last post" button often gives no reminder of the section you are in.

Would it be feasible to preface the thread title with the section ? e.g

Main Site News:::: Another "Fit to Work" death, so it would then appear above each post.

No criticism is intended, I've been guilty as well.

I'd probably still be confused - after all I came in here expecting a discussion about HTTP!

Seems I need to explain in more detail. When I log on and search for new posts, I get the list of posts. If I'm following a particular thread, I use the "last post" button (blue, in vivid), and read the last post.
Depending on the position of that last post, the main section header is not always visible on my screen. I can scroll up, but usually in a "hasty" response, I would use the "reply to thread" button at the bottom, immediately below that "last post" which I may be responding to. This bottom "reply to thread" button gives no indication of the section I am in.

If the section prefaced the thread title, it would provide a section reminder at the top of each and every post, and avoid any need for scrolling.
I hope that clarifies my suggestion, I've got a cloud of flying envelopes just now, so I may have upset someone else.:)

Lol, I thought the same was expecting something wrong with the load times of DW due to large http headers lol.

Still confused :)

Maybe we should have a confused section: I'd probably be in there all the time though.
