Does anyone know of a way to download videos from youtube.com??

Not sure if it is possible - if it is please can someone help me.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

It is possible. You'll need 3 things to do it:

1) Mozilla Firefox: www.mozilla.com

2) an Firefox addon called VideoDownloader 2: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

3) Total Video Converter: http://www.softslist.com/download-8-8-24131.html

Once you've got these, all you have to do is go to the video you want to download using Firefox, then double click on the VideoDownloader icon in the Firefox status bar, and select download. Make sure you save the file as an .flv file.

Once you have done this, open Total Video Converter, and import the .flv file and convert it to a .mpg video file (or whatever you want). And, voila - you have your video :)

Thanks for the quick reply.

Ive managed to do steps 1 and 3.

Im having problem with step 2, I have downloaded the videodownloader file but I cant find a working file on the download that will install the add on - im not sure what im doing wrong.
